the burning desire...

Is there such a thing as a burning desire? A burning desire for what? The word `obsession' is much suited to a feeling where one can never be safe from anything. Do I have a burning desire for writing? Or I am just obsessed in doing what I have been doing? Or it is just an outcome of a burning desire? Wallhualam. Allahuakbar.
