It smashes all rules written and non-written alike. Be it before, now, and then. It does not matter. A rule has to be replaced somehow. Need not follow blindly. When situation permits, old rules just do not concur with events. A true rule of concurrences forces out the truth in all things. Tsunami brought out the good, thrashed the bad, evil, in people.
Tsunami forces the community to abandon rules and traditions that seems to put societies and individuals apart. Like it or not , they have to unite under a new banner in order to survive. Everybody knows it.
An old stories do not hold water anymore. But majority still succumb to it as though only in death they shall part by what they have wrongly pledge. Is that what change is all about?
Sesungguhnya Allah Yang Maha Berkuasa ke atas Segala-Galanya. Dengan azan yang dilaungkan, menyedarkan kita masih lagi bernafas dan menghala kepada hari esok. Dengan pertukaran hari ke hari lain, secara kasar berapa pernafasan yang masih tinggal boleh dihitung.
Tetapi masih ada yang lupa. Itulah hikmah azan mengingatkan masyarakat dan individu betapa saat dan ketika ini adalah sangat rugi jika tidak dimanfaatkan dengan membuat sesuatu menepati kesedaran kebolehan kita yang telah diserukan. Allahuakbar.
