Greatness, friendship, publicity...

He is a great man. The word great is supposedly to be exclusive that could last forever. But in today's context of greatness, the word great can just be an expression due to friendship of him and someone in power. Napoleon is remembered. Mohammar Godafi is great. But Napoleon's greatness still being remembered. What about Libya's Mohamar Godaffi? Just sheer coincidence of right time, right place, right friendship, right career, and right support. Godaffi was shot dead. Nothing great about him. I am somewhat puzzled by personalities that seem big in the eyes of TV and newspapers, but little is known of him by the man on the street. Is that greatness or just sheer cheap publicity? Greatness then is supposedly to be inclusive and exclusive of all time, places, and people. Nothing short of that. Allahuakbar.
