I am on my own..we all do..

Most of us don't. They are not on their own. They are slaves to their own background and thinking. What they do or didn't do reflect the background they come from. Most would take it as reasons for not doing what they should have been doing in the instance of first opportunity. Harbouring thoughts of vengeance and bad sentiments takes priority over other wisdom of good self and good citizen. As for a nation, this kind of thought pattern pose a serious problem to human resource development. The country needs a dynamic and scientific character that can change anything of all sorts. Instead what do we get?

Many live in this world wearing many hats. The one hat that is being shared most is as a customer to a product or services. And the other as a citizen and habitually talk of nothing, read nothing new, and criticize nothing but love to indulge in talking on topics that reflect the bad spirit that shed light to nothing but contribute to the degeneration of civil society.

Why? To the well-educated, the reasons are obvious, but not so to the ones who has not had the chance to be exposed to the world of thinking and analysis. They constitute the majority and are slaves to their own unfortunate background and dreams. The background might not refer to all family matters but also the perpetuation of negative propaganda from irresponsible leaders thus giving us a false sense of identity that is hard to erase.

To me a good governance is to make us realise we are on our own free from the influence of where we come from, be it the family or country. So realising that, nobody shall put a blame on no one, be it the parents, family, or country as of what he or she has become of now. You have to break loose from everything you are attached to before. You are on your own when comes to facing and fighting the evil forces. So please not a moment of thinking of going back, ever. As a good and productive citizen, you are very much on your own now.

What about as a customer? The loyalty programme is rubbish , so to speak. But considering the high cost in manufacturing, high cost of distributing and marketing, and thinking of the risks involved, loyalty programme shall stay. We buy what we have bought. Or we buy because of the strong influence of promotional activities comes from the manufacturer? Despite the subliminal and subtle nature of promotion, we still pride our self by saying the advertisement does not have an influence on you. What will they say? I am very much on my own and I think we all do...
